Hi all!

On April 5th we had our interview for my wife's green card. The agent realized we had brought the wrong marriage certificate, it was the one our church gave us, not the official one from the county. He requested us to get the new one and the application would be approved. The following week on April 15th we received the letter that they needed the official copy of the marriage certificate. We overnighted the marriage certificate that day.

It's now been nearly 7 weeks and we haven't heard or seen any type of information. We've checked the application online and nothing has changed. Check the mail everyday, nothing.

Is there anything we can do? We understand after 60 days we can file a request to check our case.

Any suggestions or moral boost would be helpful!!

Thanks!

Thanks for responding. This was for our AOS. Does filing for a case review after 60 days of no response help expedite this at all?

Asking for a case review did help for us. We were waiting after an RFE response and at the 60 day mark we asked what was taking so long, and within a week my husband had a letter with his interview date.
