Hi everyone!

We received our AOS appointment letter on Saturday, it's on May 10. Has anybody been through the Portland, OR office lately? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nov 28, 06 - INTERVIEW SUCCESS!!!

Dec 12, 06 - VISA IN HAND

Dec 29, 06 - MARRIED!!

Jan 8, 07 - filed for AOS and EAD

Apr 3, 07 - EAD approved!!!

Apr 7, 07 - EAD card arrived!

May 10, 07 - Interview....APPROVED!!!

May 23, 07 - GC in hand

Feb 10, 09 - I-751 sent to CSC

Feb 12, 09 - NOA1

Apr 20, 09 - Approved!

Jun 12, 09 - Card Production Ordered

Jun 19, 09 - 10 year GC Received

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

12/30/2008: Overnighted I-751 package to VSC

01/06/2009: Check cashed

01/06/2009: NOA (arrived 01/09/09)

01/23/2009: Biometrics appt letter received

01/31/2009: Biometrics scheduled

05/20/2009: APPROVED

06/23/2009: 10 Year Green Card arrived

Congrata! Looks like your RFE didn't delay you too much at all. I have mine at Portland, OR on April 24th so don't have any advice for you just yet. I'll let you know how it goes though. You can look through the timeline search for AOS for the Portland, OR district office, and some people have put short comments if you use the expanded version of it. The last I heard there was one person that had a recent interview (don't know why I can't find it in the AOS threads now) and she said that it was a good experience, especially considering that they didn't even live in the same town together (she was going to school I think in a different state at that time) and they got approved. But, I can't find the thread now, sorry. Hope that helps.

March 14/09 Biometrics appt.

April 22/09 Date of Approval!!

June 25/09 Greencard arrives in the mail!

That's great info!! Thanks so much! Good Luck at your interview!!! I just went through a naturalization interview less than a year ago and they were nice then, hope it's the same people.
