Post Decision Activity

Hi

My EAD/AP was approved 2 weeks ago. I had an email the following day after approval stating there was post decision activity to my EAD application.

Dies anyone know what that is? Doesn't seem like the normal flow of updates USCIS give.

Could it mean they have changed their minds on the approval?

No, it probably means they mailed the card.

I got the same thing for my AP. I received it a few days ago (the physical AP).

Does it say it was approved? If so, I don't think it means they denied it afterwards.

Well that sounds positive at least. I did receive 2 notices in the list saying EAD/AP was approved on some fancy green paper but since then nothing.

It's bad enough going through the process and waiting etc but to then delay receipt of anyone cards EAD or GC takes the biscuit. That at least needs to be looked at.

I'm sure their system can pull up the data on the timing between each interval in the process. How can bits of plastic take so long to produce and why the delays?

I'd hope some kind of annual audit takes place but I'm sure the findings are just covered up anyway and a clean bill of health is given masking all the inefficiencies in the system.

Yes in a previous life I have audited before anyone says how boring of me (to top it off I have also been an accountant for many years too! Oh how I have lived life on the edge!!)
