Thanks jlvr,

It's fine most days, just once in a while it amazes me how many things can go awry!

Kellon spoke with a lawyer in Canada today and she is going to follow up on the police certificate, hopefully if they think he has representation they will at least open the darned letter or request!

I am truly grateful that we are together while all this is happening though. I try to not stress because I can't imagine how hard this would be if we were apart. My heart goes out to all of you that are waiting separate.

Pretty soon we'll be in the states worrying about AOS and me getting into grad school and getting ready for his girls to come live with us. I have to say, I'm truly excited about being a step-mom!

Cheers

Sue

*applauds* Many heartfelt Congrats on the upcoming interview. I seriously doubt ours will be that fast, he hasn't mailed in the much needed "checklist". We're hoping maybe for a July interview. But who knows...I'm so tired of feeling manic all the time! lol...I hate moving at the speed of government!

peace everybody!

i've been mia for a while! good news...today my fiance and i went to have our interview at the embassy in TZ!!!! and we were approved!!!:dance::dance: They told us to come pick up the passport tommorow. this has all moved so unbelievably quick and we feel so blessed. The embassy in TZ is great, very professional and efficient, and lucky for us has a relatively light case load. The interview was not tough at all, though we had prepared and practiced alot. (Im glad that I made the effort to be there) also i had a pretty sizeable binder filled with evidence but the CO did not ask to look at it. He did look at pix. It was his fist K-1 and he was like OK what do I do now? it was so cute! To God be the Glory!

This is so beautful. the past few months have been so so so stressful. This is so amazing! AM I DREAMING??????

I called twice in the end!

Once on the 14th and they told me it was recieved that day, and once on the 16th and they said it was sent on the 15th!

15 mins later I got the email

I had almost zero waiting on both calls. 1st was about 4 mins (Total call was 6 mins 30) second call was straight through!

I called this morning and was told that my application was sent to the embassy on the 15th. Hmmm. I wonder how many days I should wait before trying to contact the embassy.

I am feeling bad for the filers that have to go through CSC. I keep reading that it's hard for you all to see VSC filers flying through this system while continue to wait. But I don't want to not be able to get excited about our progress. It seems to me that the best thing to do is to create a thread that is specifically for VSC so that we can keep up with each others' progress without flaunting it for those that don't really want to see. So that's what I'll do.

Okay, so the list so far goes: safitu, GhanaLove, tonyeck, abdounjen, craigandkym, Gabacha, Thai Pham, GrenadianCrix, serendipitous, alcatrazk, MM_MS, Adrian + Shannon and Udella&Wiz and Brian & Elise..

Just realized that I didn't put myself in that list!

Please, please pardon my error! I'm a February Filer but thru CSC, not Vermont. Clearly a Freudian slip!

So, who has interviews scheduled from our group? And is Safitu still the only Visa issued (from Feb-VSC)?

Adrian's interview in London is tomorrow (5/9) at 10 am! We are so excited - I am stressed here in the US, and he is confidently snoozing there in some flea bag hotel in London ! :D I am so freaking nervous. After all these months of waiting, THIS IS IT!

If he gets an approval, will we be the 2nd VSC-February filer with a Visa issued? Or has anyone else made it yet?

Keeping fingers crossed and sending speedy approval wishes to all of you!

tonyeck's is 5/29 and mine is 6/19. abdounjen were supposed to have theirs 5/2 but the embassy in Morocco is closed and we don't know when it will reopen. :( I think we need to send a lot of hope and prayers their way.

And don't say if he gets approved, you mean WHEN. Wow, by the time we're up in the morning he'll be done.
