No i haven't been calling ...i guess i'm just way too patient...but i dont think i even have a right to call since the processing time is 180 days anyways. I mean...am i right?

No!!! For VSC its def shorter. Call them girl! Or have your man call them if he's in US. A lot of of us got NOA2 on same day we called. Not sure if theres a connection but u never know. Talk to an operator and ask them a bunch of questions even tho they cant answer u. Be really polite and thank them. It may work 4 u too! Good luck!!!

Just curious...has any of my Co-Feb filers finished Packet 3 yet?

I've completed all of the DS forms. The only thing that I'm waiting on is some of the financial stuff, the letter from my employer, the bank letter. And I have to compile our relationship info. Nothing else to do but sit and wait, his appointment is not until next month.

Well...the new week is starting. I'm hoping for the best. So far no touch today either. I guess i'm not on their favorite list...thank you much though

Ok...yes i will make him call but know i dont know if i'm eligible with this HRR restriction. I thought I wasnt able to go back to the US for two years not that I had to stay physically home for two years. If that is the case i wont be able to see Michael for another year because in meanwhile I applied to the American University in Bulgaria where i'm a senior currently. So i've been at home for 14 months right after i came and with all of the school breaks about 3 more months ...that implies that i have to stay in the country for 7 more months...i honestly just want to burst in tears....

Got a quick question for those in the know. As my finace is in the UK with me and will be until the interview, we are concerned of where we get the Affidavit of support notorised

We read:

If you are outside the United States, the affidavit

must be sworn to or notice affirmed before a U.S.

consular or immigration officer.

Does anyone know where I can go to get this done in the Uk? Can it be done at the interview?

Does anyone know where I can go to get this done in the Uk? Can it be done at the interview?

Looks like you will have to make a trip to London or the Edinburgh consulate for swearing this form. I would call them to check first, because you probably need an appointment! (Unless you have a parent co-sponsor in the US which must be pretty common if you are a student-then maybe they could do it stateside?)

Ours went in from the US with our 129-F, so I am afraid I can't be of much help other than telling you that they do want the original of this document, not a copy. And all kinds of supporting documents - even a freakin' letter from my bank - this was by FAR the biggest headache of our application form!!!

I just re-read this post. Which form is this from? There's one or two that only gets signed at the embassy when they tell you to.

Never mind, just re-re-read. Hmm. I think I'm back to not knowing the answer. You should post the question in the UK Embassy forum.

I have recieved Packet 3 I am going to schedule my medical on Monday for the 30th April...

Packet 3 will be sent back on Monday also

Got MOST documents ready for the interview, just waiting some tax info

Waiting on my Police record

Hope to have the interview in the middle of May

As for me, we have an appointment to pick up packet 3, at which time my fiance will be giving them the DS230. I have all of the financial docs, although I haven't notarized the I134 yet, and all of the DS forms filled out.

My fiance went today to pick up his police record, but he also has to get the No-Impediment form.

We can't schedule the medical until they give us an interview date, which they won't until he turns in the DS230.

We got packet 3 on the 26th. it instructed us to return DS230 immediatly, which we did. I emailed the consulate to see if they recieved the fax and they told me that my fiance should follow the K-1 instruction letter; that he is not required to fax any documents to the embassy. Thats funny cos the instruction letter specifically says return DS230, case cannot be processed until it is returned! Oh well. So the way it works for TZ consulate is you get all the documents required for K-1 visa, then secure an appt with consular section through...City Bank (yeah $100 visa fee to get an appt!) Hope to have all documents ready by mid-April. Fortunately TZ consulate moves fast...interviews scheduled 2 weeks out. Yipeeee!

My update....

Let's see, I am still waiting for our Packet 3 to be delivered. It was sent regular mail so it can't be tracked, the embassy is telling us to give it another week. The embassy told me that it had been mailed Marcch 13th. That's two weeks now. I really hope it gets here soon.

But right now the entire West Indies has been taken over by World Cup Cricket so I have no idea when it might get here.

We still don't have any word on the Police check from Canada...they say they haven't even received the request yet. I'm waiting to hear back from them too.

I am stuck in snail mail he||!

But seriously, I'm not that stressed out. There isn't much I can do except sit back and wait to see what happens.
