No problem! Did you get your number? If you've got any more questions I'd be happy to help :)

Yes I did thank you :) just need to complete the ds-160 or whatever it's called and then we can book!!

Hello all. Is it required that you bring/wear the engagement ring at the interview? I have pictures of it, but I don't want to travel with it if not necessary. Thank you for your response.

I believe I read somewhere that you don't need a ring

hello guys i been worrying about this for a couple of days now.

My story is like this i am an illigetimate child so in my birth i am nkt recognize by my father so i should not have my middle name, instead im using my mothers middle name as my middle name and my mother surname as my surname as well. So all my documents has my middle name. When i applied for a passport the dfa did not let me include my middle name for the reason thag i am an illigetimate a renewed my passport still they dont wanna include my middle name since thats the law.

Right now we are only waiting for our Manila case number but this makes me worry a lot. My birth does have my middle name and so the other documents. EXCEPT the passport.

im worried if this might can cause a denial for our k1 or delays... please dear friends who have expereince this enlighten me advice is badly needed :(

It's the calm before the storm so I can leave an update.
Interview is after tomorrow, Tuesday!

I can't wait to be over with it, we're confident everything will be fine but I'm supper nervous about it anyway.

Happy that things moved pretty fast, we got the medical appointment a week after the we received package 3 and the interview is a little over a week after the medial.

Question!! :)

Did anyone here booked/purchased tickets before the interview date?
We really hoped to be able to fly Saturday and the interview is Thursday so we can't know if we have the visa or not before that.
I want to book (not buy) the ticket but we're kind of worried that the embassy might somehow have the information about this and give me a hard time.

What do you think?

I booked a changeable ticket before the interview. The embassy never even mentioned it, I don't think they'd give you a hard time for it.

We did but I also left a cushion of 4 weeks like Randyandyuni. Maybe it's different at the embassy you are interviewing at but we never would have got visa in 2 days after interview in the Philippines. As far as if you bought tickets and the embassy having that information, I don't think they'd care at all and I also don't think they'd care if you lose money by booking that close to interview date. I'd try and ask this question in your regional forum, you might get a better idea for how quick you can get visa after interview.

Thanks :)
It's not really about money, we're only booking it so it's a minimal loss and the waiting time at our embassy is pretty low (usually 1-2 days).
Just wanted to make sure I'll not have questions and feel better now that I know you guys didn't have problems)
