Embassy Review : Hello;

My experience at US embassy was very interesting. the interview was in two episodes.
on Oct 10, i just delivered the Documents, finger prints and pay the fees and i was told to come back next day to do the interview. (first day in details : http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/612772-k1-interviews-algeria-round1/

The second day on Oct 11, the CO was mean and tough. basically did not ask me anything just studied my file before and select some weak points and questioned me about it and what ever i answer he say " I'm not convinced" i heard this the whole interview. the points he insisted on are :

- How come a business relationship turned to a romance and then intention of marriage.
- Why our relation was sooo slow for three years and then things speed up sooo fast in 2 months.
- Why we applied for the K1 just after 2 months from our first meeting. and that was not enough. even we spent 2 weeks together he insisted it was not enough time and that was fast.
- Why did i signed up for a DV lottery (they have all the records even the first time I ever signed for lottery in 2009).
- Why my fiancée never came to visit me in Algeria.
- Why i did not provide pictures from our second meeting (which i did the day before and they were next to him and I'm not sure if he ever looked through the evidence i provided).

So the whole interview was like he ask about these stuff i answer and he reply " I'm not convinced". at the end he gave me back all the evidence i provided yesterday (pics, chats,...) my passport and a 221g form for missing medical that was not ready yet and said "we can not issue the visa now". I left the embassy with Zero hope. it was like 10 to 15 min but it seemed 2 hours. then after thinking about his last words and getting some advises from friends "specially Adam" I knew we were approved and nothing to worry.

The Whole interview was just bluffing and testing and that what the interview is about.

on Oct 17, I delivered the medical and passport and the status changed to ISSUED on Oct 19th. and Passport with the VISA in Hand Oct 23.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
