Quick question: I am due to send my application for removal of conditions. Do I need a joint bank statement? We do have one but was hardly used since we opened it in 2014 other than putting some money in and paying out checks for electricity. We have life insurance; joint auto and medical insurance, a letter from the hospital dated last year to my wife's employer stating that she was with me on various visits and stay during my surgeries; my name on refinancing of her mortgage; family plan cellphone.

My advice is to include all the statements you have from your marriage to the present day. All pages of all statements. USCIS seems to place a LOT of stock in joint checking accounts.

Good luck.

Just include whatever you can provide, and bank statements is a good evidence as you are showing to them the joint payments of utilities and so on. If you can provide one just include it. It's better to provide as many as you can.

I sometimes question why people think every bank statement for two years is important. My logic was if we had an account at Bank X with account number 12345 two years ago and stil have it today, then we did not close it sometime in the middle. I sent four statements spread over two years showing activity. If two years ago, the account had $250 and there was no activity and now it has $252.10...well not so great as evidence.
