Hello everyone,

I live in Abu Dhabi and sent my husbands i-130 form to the Chicago lockbox about a month ago (he is Canadian and we both will be moving from Abu Dhabi to American in a few months). However, we put so many documents and things in a binder along with the i-130 but forgot to send the money order with it! We didn't even get notification if it was received or anything yet....any idea what to do next? Thanks!

Hi,

As said, just wait for it to come back. If you filed I-130, that's for the CR-1/IR-1 visa BTW (not K3) :-)

Are you truly trying the K3 route?

Also they will send the package back to you if there's no payment. But sometimes they have issues with overseas addresses.

Thank you...Could I call the USCIS number and check with them if they were able to send it back? I wonder if they be able to tell me....

Nope it's not even in their system until you get the NOA1, which you won't get without a payment.

Did you make a copy of the entire thing?
