“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

it's pretty much addressed in the op, hence my confusion.

Yes the OP attempts to redefine what racism is to fit their argument.

Here is the third paragraph:

Racism and prejudice aren't quite the same thing. Racism, rather, is best known as a system in which a racial majority is able to enforce its power and privilege over another race through political, economic and institutional means. Therefore racism can be described as "prejudice plus power," as the two work together to create the system of inequality.

It is perhaps an effect of Racism, but its not specifically racism. So now you've inserted this redefinition, everything after this paragraph hinges on the above statement. If the redefinition of racism isn't valid then the argument is no longer valid.

The notions of the OP are pretty straight forward and easy to identify using accepted definitions.

1. There is only racism. It is an idea that can be held by any race. Reverse racism as a term is redundant.

2. Power allows racists to act upon their beliefs through the process of discrimination.

Somebody's feeling left out again....

Obama has been quiet

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
