I am not expert in this process. I see sometimes the case gets transferred. Whats the deal with this? And when do we know if it does happen. Does it delay the process?

I have no idea and don't know anything about the transfer

there are a couple of things that may have been wrong with my case cause i did everything myself

and also that i was out of status when i filed them and that my husband has just recently become a us citizen

but the worst thing is that it's been so long since i filed everything and got no responce either positive or negative

I did everything myself too. Debated hiring Lawyer then just document review. Ended up doing everything myself. My case will have issues later ( :secret: Wife on probation in different state). I expect this step to be done relatively smooth. I never was so eager for someone to cash my checks. :clock:

I received text and email. USCIS website doesn't recognize the case number today. I guess its only because yet to get into the system. What does your status say on the website TKSR15?

And I received 3 case numbers but I expected 4 for I485, I130, I765 and I131. How many did you receive?

Hi,

I am by no means an expert, but from what I understand you will only get an RFE if you made a mistake on a document and they want it corrected or if they want more information from you, both of which will come later in the process if needed. Don't worry about an RFE until they ask and even then just send whatever info or correction. RFE is not always a bad thing.

My e-mail with case numbers are only 2 probably because I did not request I-765 or I-131. They e-mail says to wait until you receive the hard copy of I-797 before checking on your case to allow time for everything to get in the system.

We all just need to be patient (easier said than done )

Good luck hope this helped a little.
