So I just submitted the 1-129F package and I think I did everything right, the only minor thing I think I forget is this. I wrote our names on the back of the pics for the g-325a but I did not write our names on a sheet of blank paper attached. That shouldn't be a major issue should it?

I didnt label any of our pictures, not even names, and had no problems.

I was under the impression one was to write their names in pencil on the back of each picture ( petitioner and beneficiary ) . We did just that and included the date.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

stevenw60,

Point of clarification: The G-325A does not ask for any picture. It's the I-129f that asks for the pictures.

thinking it was the 325 also

One passport-type photo (see specification) of the US Citizen. Write the full name of the US citizen on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of <Insert US Citizen's Name>". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a.

The pics are for the actual form you are using to file for the visa, not the biographical information form. Pics, G325A, birth certificate, etc. all go with either the I-130 or I-129F.

Come to think of it... I don't think I put our names on the backs of our pics...

CR-1

02/05/07 - I-130 sent to NSC

05/03/07 - NOA2

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

With all due respect, that is the "entire" I-129F package instructions. It does not specify which form requires the photos. Does it really matter anyway? No. Be sure to submit photos with the I-129F package and you will have met the submission requirements.

They re-organize the packet you send in anyway. Clips, Acco fasteners, tabs - waste of time.

Just be sure the package is neat and complete.

brnidokiegurl,

What you're quoting is one person's opinion of the order in which to assemble the various items that are required for an I-129f petition submittal. That VJ guide does not say that the pictures are required for the G-325A forms, it merely suggests that you place the picture in the package behind the G-325A.

I prefer to put the pictures in a clear plastic sleeve or baggie and put them under the check and on top of the I-129f - upfront in the submission where they're less likely to be overlooked.

Again, it's in the I-129f instructions where one finds the requirements for what needs to be submited, including the requirement for the photos. Note that the requirement for the photos is listed as a separate item from the requirement to submit G-325A.
