Does only the applicant and petitioner need a 'long form' birth certificate? My husband (immigrant) and I have long birth certificates and his interview is next month. But my mother who I'm combining income with only has a short one.

February 4th- case complete.

February 24th- Interview scheduled for April 19th

Doesn't matter. Only the beneficiary needs a long form birth certificate.

Noa 1 August 15th 2011
Noa 2 March 2nd

NVC case numbers March 22nd
My sons AOS and IV bill paid March 23rd (status in progress)
My sons AOS and IV bill shows as paid March 26
My IV bill paid March 26
Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th
CC on both cases March 30

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

September 2015, interview

October 23rd 2015, Oath ceremony!!!!!​​

Combining income?

I think she means her mother is the joint sponsor. The joint sponsor just needs to prove US citizenship or permanent residency and that they are currently in the US. They don't need a long form birth certificate for that.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

Mother is filling out an I-864a. Because of that, thank you, it is good the petitioner has a long form birth certificate.

Well I was more asking just to make sure op doesn't think that they actually can combine their incomes to reach the income requirements...
