Timeline

1. I129F-k3 and i130 are approved.

2. Both cases were sent to NVC.

3. Received an email with instructions this week, but it was for the i130, not i129.

Question:

Does this hinder the amount of time it will take to get my husband here? I miss him terribly.

the K3 is almost obsolete, most of the times it is administratively closed at the NVC and will go through consular processing

yes, the whole process takes around a year, so he still has a few months until he comes

K3 gets in almost all cases, mostly precisely because it is not faster than the CR-1 anymore, both take about a year now.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
