Hi everyone! Here's the question, my Aunt is going to sponsor my husband, she maked 60k a year, she's married but her husband has some debts and doesn't make enough. Do I still need to ask her husband for the i-864a? They're married but they don't combine their income and he's not reflecting on his taxes? I'm just worried he might affect our I-864? Should I just go look for another sponsor?

If they file taxes as "married, filing separately" then no, his I-864A should not be needed.

So it won't affect my I-864? I'll ask my Aunt about her taxes. Thank you!
