Hello, everyone! Can someone take a look at my i-130 cover letter if it's good. I have a few unusual situations that I included in the cover letter, and I want to make sure it makes sense. I also have some questions at the end of the letter. I just modified my name and my wife's, Thank you, everyone!

Subject: I-130 Petition for my spouse <beneficiary>.

Dear Sir/Madam:

I,<petitioner> a citizen of the United States, would like to file a petition I-130 for my spouse, <beneficiary>.

As for additional information, I am currently living and working with my wife, <beneficiary>, in Tbilisi, Georgia, so I will stay with her until she is granted a CR-1 visa. Next, I included in the I-130 package a copy of my Peace Corps passport to show proof of my previous residences in Kazakhstan and in Ukraine for form G-325A. Details of this matter is written in “Letter on description of Peace Corps passport for form G-325A (petitioner)”is under the section, “Completed and signed form G-325A and photograph (petitioner)”.

Moreover, I attached a continuation sheet for listing my previous addresses and employments for the form G-325A (petitioner) because I do not have enough space to type on form G-325A (petitioner).

I also want to point out that I change my flight itinerary when I visited <beneficiary> in the previous summer because I wanted to spend a few more days with her.

Please find enclosed the following required and supporting documents:

1 Money order for I-130 filing fee

2 Completed and signed form I-130

3 Copy of petitioner’s US passport used to established citizenship

4 Copy of our marriage certificate

1 Translator’s signed certification letter

5 Completed and signed form G-325A and photograph (petitioner)

1 Copy of petitioner’s US Peace Corps passport

2 Letter on description of US Peace Corps passport for form G-325A (petitioner)

3 Continuation sheet for form G-325A (petitioner)

6 Completed and signed form G-325A and photograph (beneficiary)

7 Proof of a bona fide relationship

1 A short summary of our story

2 Copies of flight itineraries

3 Changed flight itinerary for summer of 2015

4 Photographs

5 Transcriptions of correspondence from Facebook and Skype

8. Completed and signed G-1145 form

Copies of the documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered documents, and I understand that I or my wife may be required to submit original documents to an immigration or consular officer at a later date.

I kindly request you to process the above petition and to provide the receipt notice as soon as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns on the above matter, please do not hesitate to contact me at +### ##### #####, or at the address above.

Thank you,

<Petitioner>

Questions:

1. Should I include my copy US passport pages showing visa stamps for ‘Copies of flight itineraries’? Didn’t save my plane tickets.

2. For copy pages of my Peace Corps passport, should I put them behind my G-325A form?

3. For previous residences for form G-325A form, I can’t find the exact address of one of my previous residence entries, just the city. Is this entry OK if I write the explanation of why I don’t have the exact address (it was a small village when I was Peace Corps trainee in Kazakhstan)? The organization may have this information no longer exists in Kazakhstan. I contacted the Peace Corps’ headquarters in Washington, DC, but I haven’t got an answer from them yet.

4. For the cover letter, ss it good to include my explanations of me living with my wife in Tbilisi, explaining about my Peace Corps passport for showing residences when I was a Peace Corps volunteer, and changing a flight itinerary?

5. I decided that I will use my dad’s residence for correspondences between USCIS

and I. For example, any information or forms that USCIS will send to me, these forms will come to my dad’s house. Then he will send them to me in Georgia. My question is should I include my Georgian or my dad’s address in the cover letter? Also, where in the 1-130 package do I let USCIS know to send documents to my dad’s address?

6. For copy pages of my personal and Peace Corps passports, do I need to include the front covers and the back covers (solid blue colors outside of the passport pages)?

She means she removed your address form the letter. Not a good idea to put personal contact information on a public forum. The members here are nice but this forum can be seen by anyone with an Internet connection - and not everyone is nice.

1. This would help show that you actually took the trips, since you no longer have the boarding passes.

4. Personally, I would remove that explanation (starting after the bit on staying with your wife), as the information is repeated in your list of included documents. You can say it twice, but you only need say it once.

5. You might want to check out the thread on filing from abroad. There's a lot of discussion on addresses.

Since you're living with your wife, you can likely add evidence of this, e.g., joint lease, joint bills, or some other evidence of a shared address.

Thank you for your response, Awayougo! For question one, my Georgian visa stamps will be in my copied pages of personal passport. In your opinion, should I include additional copies of those pages behind my flight schedules? Or I don't need to? As for question 2, I will check out the thread! As your last advice, it's hard to get those documents because we are renting an apartment from a lady. In Georgia, at least in my experience, no one uses signed contracts/leases. Also, our finances are separate, so we don't have any joint accounts or bills together. Thank you again!

Wow, I am filing from Tbilisi too. I am wondering, for your time PC did you use your US address? I put the name of the village I lived in with a note saying there are no street names and house numbers. Not sure if that was the wrong way to go.

Hey Leisiko! Well, yes I did. In between my services in Kazakhstan and in Ukraine, but they will have to figure out the entry stamps to/from the US with my two passports! It's really annoying. I wished that we can just use our own personal passports instead of an issued PC one. It will make life easy for RPCVs like us! I was also in the same boat, I can't remember the exact street address when I did PST in Kazakhstan, just the village's name. I typed a note explaining why I couldn't provide a full address.

Quick question, I am in the process on assembling my I-130 package. Do you know where I can find ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions and a folder to hold these fasteners in Tbilisi? Take care!

I hope it doesnt cause to much of a headache for them between the two passports! I was TLG though so no extra fancy passport for me. :D

As far ACCO clips I don't know, but there is a shop on budapeshti that has a good selection of books, binders and various office stuff. They might know. If not then my next stop would be printing shops around vaja and pavlo as its business oriented area. Also, Biblusi has regular 2pocket folders if you're looking for those.

I sent my documents off yesterday with just a few paperclips and put everything in a plastic sheet protector. Granted there wasnt much to send.

Ah. OK. I was told that the USCIS didn't want the documents to be in plastic sleeves. They actually prefer the package to be either in ACCO clips or in heavy clips with tabs on the bottom. Just playing it safe is all. Here is the link: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-and-fees/general-tips-assembling-applications-mailing. Good luck with the visa process. I am sure the plastic sleeves will not be a big issue!
