Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of, or been asked, questions about previous living/work places and the dates (as in before you met your fiancé) for either the K1 or Adjustment of Status interviews. Both my fiancé and I have lived and worked in several locations before we met are are not sure if we should be memorizing the dates or not (besides the dates of previous visits in either countries).

Thanks!

For my interview they never asked from what I remember it all depends who you get for the K1 interview but I don't think it will matter for ur job as your moving to the states but they might ask for ur husbands job I would just say what his 2 recents jobs were if they ask but honestly u will be fine, I feel Canadian interviews are much easier ;)

:guides: easily accessible at the top of the forum page. In particular, the example interview questions: http://www.visajourney.com/content/exampleq Of course the CO/IO have a wide range of latitude in the types of questions that they can pose.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Yes, this is quite common especially in the K1 interview; you may be asked about where the other partner went to school and the name of the school, or when she got her first job and with what company. You won't be expected to know the exact day, but rough timelines are important because to the CO, it is the sort of thing a bonafide couple knows about eachother.

Maybe but I wouldn't memorize dates.

Hi,

I have looked at these guides, and the questions weren't listed there; however, I know I am expected to know everything on the g-325 form, so wondering if anyone had had the experience of them asking stuff off of it.

Hi,

I have looked at these guides, and the questions weren't listed there; however, I know I am expected to know everything on the g-325 form, so wondering if anyone had had the experience of them asking stuff off of it.

The EXAMPLE QUESTIONS can and should not be construed as an exhaustive listing of ALL of the POSSIBLE questions that an IO/CO may ask at an interview. As mentioned at the top of the questions section:

The following sections have example questions that were asked of real life applicants. When available the location* that the questions were asked is noted. These questions are not an inclusive list and should only be used to get a "feel" for the types of things that will be asked. Indeed many interviewers may ask more or less questions, easier or harder questions, and in general many things that this list does not include. Please only use this as a general guide to help you understand in what types of things may be asked.

YMMV.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I realize that this is not an exhaustive list. My concern is that none of the questions listed on those pages pertained to anything off of the G-325f form (besides "what is their occupation"), which is why I asked if anyone had been asked that to see if it may be a possibility. If it was common, I would imagine that there would be at least one question of something relating to information off of that form.

Thanks
