You know the timelines posted here reflects the majority, but some crazy stories exist. I saw someone updated her case to approved on trackitt.com but she filed for ROC in 2011. Yes 2011!!! It took 1637 days to decide if her marriage was bona fide. She went through multiple interviews, was married until July 2014, continued her case as divorced, and finally approved in 2016. Long story short check her profile: http://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/discuss/i751/297 .

Wow i thought i was the only one waiting this long. I also live in Florida too, and filed through VSC in OCT 2014. No RFE or interview letter. 16 months and still nothing

Yeah i have called a thousand times and also spoke with a Tier 2 officer, and all they could do was to put in a service request. Tried scheduling an info pass with my local field office but there are no appointment dates available, so will check later.

Try filing for citizenship and see if it speeds up you ROC approval.

All I've continued my research on this topic and finally found came across some official numbers that would be useful for future reference. USCIS periodically (once every few years) asks for public comments on the petitions they process. They do include a statistic called "burden hours" reflecting how long it takes to process a particular petition. They then compute the total cost of a petition to the agency and compare how much they collect for fees, do some more analysis, etc. I found such documents from 2006, 2010, and most recently 2015 that all shows 3.3333 hrs (3 hrs 20 min) as the average "burden hours" for I-751s. Note that this time includes the total time from a petition is received to all the way to the adjudication excluding the biometrics burden hours.

https://www.federalregister.gov/articles/2015/04/28/2015-09294/agency-information-collection-activities-petition-to-remove-the-conditions-on-residence-form-i-751

Well for labor hour estimates, everybody knows numbers are inflated so that some cushion is included. So my initial estimate of 1.5-2 hours on average based on that 2012 youtube video I shared earlier was not terrible. But even if their numbers are absolutely tight, 3 hours 20 minutes is the average time spent on ROCs based on these official documents.

I found another official source on this from the proposed USCIS fee increase proposal document that was posted on federal register. The official time is now 0.99 hours people.

https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2016-05-04/pdf/2016-10297.pdf Go to Table 6 on Page 23 that lists completion rates or projected adjudication hours per completion for each petition. On the bottom of the previous page they define completion rate as "the average hours per adjudication of an immigration benefit request. Completion rates reflect what is termed ‘‘touch time’’ or the time an employee with adjudicative responsibilities actually handles the case."

When combined with my previous entry, overall 3 hours 20 mins probably covers your package arrive to service center, initial examiner goes through the package, puts in system, cashes check, issues fingerprinting notice, putting your folder in a sack or box that will not be opened for the next several months, eventually someone delivers it to the adjudicating officer's table and that 0.99 hours starts ticking after the officer actually starts working on your case.
