Hi. I have a question.

So when USCIS finally sends the applicant the approval for the K-1, K-2 application, the case then goes to National Visa Center, right?

So correct me if I'm wrong: At that point, you follow the NVC steps, fill out this long annoying questionnaire online for the K-1 and the child (K-2), retain the confirmation page printouts, and then the website gives you a few dates available for the Interview at the Consulate. You pick a date for the interview and the fingerprints (ASC) and in the meantime gather any needed documents together for the interview at the Consulate. Right?

Ok, at what point do you fill out the I-134? Is that filled out when you file the I-129 petition with USCIS?

Also, at what point does the USC fiance have to prove that he/she is financially solvent to support immigration finace & child? Is that done when they file for Adjustment of Status once in the USA (after they get married?)

Thank you very much!!!

Our Guides here will tell you what to fill out when: http://www.visajourney.com/content/guides

In short, you need to file the I-134 affadavit of support at the K1 interview, and then the more involved I-864 affadavit of support with Adjustment of Status after marriage.

You start the process yet? You ask about petition approval, then you ask about filing the I-129F?
