you use the advanced search tool ?

or the Consulate Page here at VJ ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

There's a Google custom search box at the top right corner of each page on this website where you can search for information. Try searching "police certificate lagos" or something like that, and go through past threads.

My experience, around April 2015. I went to Alagbon Close police station and did mine for about N4,000. They'll try to extract all they can from you, especially if you go with a fake accent and expensive clothes; people have reported costs up to N15,000. Just go with your international passport and a copy of your passport biodata page as well as with a few passport photos. And a lot of patience. You should be done in about 1-2 hours max.

My fiance went to the one in Ikoyi around the corner from the Children's Practice where he got his medicals done. He said that the lady there gave him a little hassle at first until he paid N12K. He had it the next day. He is from another state so paying her the "tip" to rush it was cheaper them him staying an extra few days. His was done in August 2015
