Hahaha, these forums are a blessing and a curse. My husband just finished telling me to stop coming on here because I'm driving myself mad. See, I lived in Toronto and stupidly thought I could get away without ever having to get my driver's license. A decision I very much regret now that I am in NJ suburbia. I'm in Monmouth County, in Hazlet. About 45 minutes outside of NYC! (One of the major positives haha).

Yes they can be... I think overall though it's nice to see other people going through the same thing though. I love being in NYC and with my wife that is keeping me going!

Oh Yeah, agreed!!! The wait it worth is, just because I get to wake up next to my husband every morning!

Just hope my EAd/AP don't take forever so I can go visit my new niece, and before something happens to my mom.

We are still waiting as well, 4 weeks and 1 day since my wife did her biometrics. Still have about 3 weeks before we can put in a service request for EAD/AP, so I'm not too concerned. We weren't planning on going back to Canada before the summer anyway, so as long as she has her AP (or even better, GC) by June we will be fine

Hi Brian05, I'm in the same boat as you. Docs received 2/9, last touch was my NOA1 on 2/16, and biometrics completed on 3/2. Good luck!

Still waiting here too. Case was received on 2/22, but we got our NOA1 on 2/29 and that was when our case was last touched. We did biometrics on 3/24. Hang in there everyone, we just need to be patient!

Check your status again later tonight. It will probably say "Approved". For some reason it posts the status in reverse order. First status - "card being produced" - 2nd "Case Approved" and 3rd "My Card was Mailed".

Since I am seeing lots of people getting there green cards and not have to get ready for interview

I am just curious is there anyone in the group that has there status that says "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" ? And possibly have an update after that of eaither there AOS or there EAD/AP combo card?

Yep, our I-485 case status updates to "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" last week. But in our case EAD and AP haven't been touched since February 2nd.

MASH, since you've been scheduled for an interview you won't get any EAD/AP card. I think the status would change to case closed or something of the like
