my man being deployed

i didn't get response from my fiance who is in iraq for his deployment. last time we talked was like 6th of february this year. i'm getting my packet 3 soon. i'm not sure if he can complete all the forms needed for me to bring for my interview like DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157, FS-257a, recent tax return and w-2 and notarized affidavit of support. last time we talked he said they were having problems with the electricity so he might not be able to check or reply to my emails, and his parents have told me that even snail mails may not be delivered to them because their convoy might have problems with the supply line. but i don't worry if he can't complete it, as long as he's safe and ok over where he is.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the only form that he needs to complete is I-134 and provides supporting documents. As for the DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157, you will be the one who will fill-up these forms...

I'm sorry to hear about your man being in Iraq... I hope he's doing ok. Good luck!

Mae

You're man is in good condition for sure. :) My baby boy was in Iraq too last year and he wasnt able to communicate soon..

But as far as the paper is concern, you will be the one who will fill that DS forms out. What you need from your fiance are the notarized Affidavit of Support, W2 and ITR..

God bless..

Julie

You were never a mistake. You were my realization.

he only needs to complete the I-134 and he needs to send you the supporting documents for the I-134 (pay stubs, tax returns etc.)

My husband was in iraq too from 2004-2005. I wish you guys the best (L)
