Gm I wanted to share that i have a interview date already at the us embassy in Dominican republic I was told that I had to do both date on the ustraveldoc website due to the fact that my case was expedite to DR and the NVC has nothing to do with my case so March 2 he will go to his finger prints at 3:15 meaning he will do his medical in the morning and March 17 at 7:00 will be his interview

they told me that I had to do my own schedule so I did..

Is it good to put the medical so close to interview ?

We got told here, that 10 days or so before, is a good thing.

But if there are no early date, then it has to be like that.

My husband has his medical on 3/17 and his interview is on 3/24. The doctor told my husband he can come pick up all the documents he needs to bring to his interview the day before on 3/23 since the medical office is around the corner from embassy. That leaves no room for error really, so I hope they don't mess anything up.

For Mexico, do you know if the consulate will also be closed because of the Pope's visit? Hope not..My case is expedited I'm assuming my case will be sent out tomorrow.

Oh it´s be a loooong weekend with that extra day of in US.

Let´s hope they start working again and don´t take the rest of the week off also

If its a national holiday for Mexico or US, then they will have closed.

You have been doing this for sometime And if you look back through out all of it. Is it normal for at case to be shipped to a Embassy more then a month before the interview date ?

Or is it just random every time?

It use to be normal but they have most def shortened it. Could have alot to do with space. I mean like my Lagos they do 400 to 500 interviews a day (Most visitor Visas) but in those piles are K1,s IR1, CR1, Work, business and I remember when I started this back in 2012 and you could call DOS they said that embassies don;t like to get earlier than 30 day because fear of getting them lost or mixed up with others.

The norm now seems to be 2 to 3 weeks before interview. It's all dependent on the embassy and the space and how busy they are.

Do the sent e-mail which says my case is complete? I haven't got that yet

If you look at the spreadsheet you will see the embassy stopped at 2/2 CC for about every embassy. So looks like you are in the queue for April which should strt end of the month. You will just have to wait and see if you get selected since we have no idea how many ahead of you.

Case Complete email comes 7 days after Case Complete you just got on 2/11 so 2/18 expect it in your mail.

They wouldn't close it because of the Pope. But it is closed because of the US Holiday. Tomorrow they will be open live and in color.

My husband interview is March 3 and we have to leave for Ciudad Juarez february 28 can't belive is almost here.
