Hi my fiance will start his k1 petition for me, do i need my passport already? i dont have a passport yet, planning to apply next month. another thing is my mom's name is mispelled on my bc,do i have to follow my mom's correct name on her bc? last thing is im working online, i am not aware that i should pay my taxes as an self employed, will they require me to have my income tax? thanks

No the beneficiary does not need a passport when the I-129f is filed but will when it comes time to complete the DS160 so be prepared to get it fairly soon

List your mothers correct name. I'm not aware of them checking beneficiaries parental birth certificates.

Beneficiaries are not required to produce their own taxes at interview. They are required to show their petitioners/sponsors taxes from the USA

thanks alot! im scared that they will ask me my income tax, have not filed my income tax since i started working online. do i need to send my bc to to my fiance for his filing?

You (Beneficiary) do not need a passport for the I-129F petition, so you have time to get your passport.

You have two choices with your BC, get it corrected (not that difficult to do) or follow it as is for your mother's name.

USEM does not care about YOUR income. If the Philippines requires you to pay taxes that is between you and your government... no one cares for the visa process.
