Just wondering if anyone here plays Ingress, and if so, what faction? I am a L10 Englightened.

For those that do not, know, Ingress is an augmented reality game you play on your smart phone (or tablet etc); you have to go out to landmarks, libraries, parks, statues etc and "capture" portals, so it is a neat way to get some excercise and also get to know places in your town.

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

That's nice. We traveled a lot and this is sounds very entertaining. I would love to try.

I'm Level 8 Resistance -- I've been playing since September 2013 but since school took off I just haven't had the time to put the legwork in to get more AP to get to Level 9, even though I have enough badges to get me to Level 10. :P My boyfriend is Level 15 Resistance. I have met some really cool people through the game -- we sometimes go to farming events as a group, or gather together to take down some local super-field. I've played it all across the country as I did a massive road trip from CT to CA last May. Good stuff.

Yeah I have attended a few First Saturdays (events where both sides meet and have a friendly competition, and also socialise before/ after). I like the community feel and how much people help eachother, and that it is a game you can play alone, but especially at the higher levels, you really need some team work.
