So, as I get close to actually filing this petition, which is a miracle in itself. My fiancé lives in the Amazon, 8-14 hours by canoe from a small town, needless to say the communications

are limited. However, we have plenty of proof of having met in the past two years, my concern is more about the ongoing relationship proof. He has no phone, few people in his village have

phones, there is no cell service there. We talk at times using a land line of a neighbor, at times when he is in the next town over, using his mother's cell phone. Also, there is an American woman there who at times has the capacity to link up to internet and we have had Skype calls, but the log shows, her name, not his. We have some chat logs that have her saying to me, "Andrei is here, are you there", and then like a an hour long conversation, but there is really no way to prove that HE is on the other end of any of these communications. I was thinking about writing an attachment, perhaps under the phone number section / question of the I-129F, explaining the various modes we use....I was also thinking that to take for the interview, if we get that far, and I think we will, are notarized letters, which would also need to be translated, from the people who are letting us use their phone/technology.....any advice??

. I'm really nervous, and as I know all of you know, this process is hard,

emotional and because he lives so remotely, I just don't want to mess anything up;

Welcome to the forum.

Certainly write an attachment of the circumstances of your communications with your fiance. There is no way that USCIS would have any idea or understand the lengths that both of you go to to make communication unless you describe it.

Another important factor is face time. Be sure to have as much good and frequent evidence, as possible, of your in-person encounters with your fiance. The Guides, easily accessible at the top of the forum page, and in particular, the K1 Visa Guide, give excellent ideas of all of the types of evidence that USCIS is looking for initially that you have met your fiance within the past two years, and also of an ongoing relationship. Try to use as many of those types of evidence as possible in your filings with USCIS.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I like all your ideas about proof of ongoing relationship. Gather letters not only from the people lending their Skype or phones but also from your fiance's family. Do they get snail mail? Send him letters if that's possible. The only other suggestion I have is to be there for his interview.

Can you screen shot when you Skype? I take a screen shot when we Skype and it shows us both on the screen. You could print those to send also to show ur talking to him.

Chances are the lady uses a satellite connection, which would barely support voice communication through skype, I doubt it is strong enough to support video transmission.
