Hi all,

For our K-1 visa application, we received our NOA2 this past week and are waiting for everything to be forward to the NVC and then onto the US Embassy in London.

I'm beginning to collate all the documents for the affidavit of support at the moment, including letters from the employer and also from the bank. I'm aware that the bank letter isn't entirely necessary but I thought I should be fairly complete.

My question: Does it matter what date the letters have on them? For example, if we ask for the letters now then they would presumably have a date in January 2016. Would this be a problem given that:

-our interview would presumably not be until May time

-the affidavit of support documents would probably be signed and date in March?

-we haven't received any letters from the NVC nor the embassy in London yet.

My aim is to get all the document together ASAP so we're ready to go.

Simon.
