ok can any one tell me how i should go about this.. i am trying to find a civil surgeon who doesn't want to do the whole exam. or who knows something about it. how should i go about wording what i need when i call....lol...

I tell them that my husband is from Morocco and for his adjust of status interview we need to have civil surgeon to fill out the I-693a and that we have the DS-3025. I told them that my husband had an exam back in Oct. and that we are told that no exam is needed if he had one within the past year...

can anyone help us.

02/14/2007 - fees came through the bank, it's rolling!!

02/20/2007 - letter for Biometrics appointment on 03/01/2007

03/01/2007 - Biometrics appointment was painless

03/10/2007 - NOA1 AOS was transferred to CSC!!!!

03/28/2007 - touched AOS

03/29/2007 - touched AOS

04/06/2007 - welcoming letter (by email)

04/11/2007 - AOS approval (by email)

04/12/2007 - 2yr. green card in hand...omg!!

06/29/2007 - bought our new house

I can only recommend that you call around. We called several places before we found one that wasn't going to charge us an arm and a leg. It seems to me that civil surgeons think they have a license to steal! :angry: The one we went to did want to do an xray so we gave him the one Claudeth got from her medical in Manila and that was good enough. I Think we paid about $70 for the consultation and the supplemental. They also made a copy for us before sealing it in an envelope. Good luck

We submitted just the DS-3025 and it was enough. No problem at the interview and green card arrived last week. Just be sure all vaccinations are up to date.

Please check the USCIS website for civil surgeons in your area. The web link is https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp. On the left side you will see the link entitled CIVIL SURGEONS. This will take you the the Civil Surgeon Locator where you simply type in your zip code and this yeilds a list of civil surgeons in your area.
