168 days and still nothing. Tried a case inquiry and it says i am still within the timeline, which is not true, because the site says 5 months, and i am closer to 6 months now.

I am getting scared that something is wrong. I sent our petition in on Jan 20th 2016 and it was sent to the Nebraska Service Center. It has been exactly 5 months now. No RFE's, nothing. I just noticed that some people who sent their petitions in AFTER me have already received NAO2. I thought it was first come first serve, unless of course there is a problem. Any help or advice?
The only thing I can think of is that we checked the box for if the beneficiary had ever been through immigration proceedings. He came over on a tourist visa Dec 2012 to be here for the birth of our child, and the did not let him in. He willingly left, no ban, no penalties, and met his daughter when she was 3 months old.

Met: Jan 2012
Had our daughter: Dec 2012
Married: April 2013
Petition mailed: Jan 20th 2016
NAO1 : Jan 27th 2016 sent to Nebraska Service Center

NAO2: ????????

Today finally i got the approval ... I send my RFE 2 weeks ago and today i got the approval im so happy ... God is good ????????

when did you get NOA1?

Hmmmm. 186 days as of today - 6months 4days. NOA1- 01/07/2016. Called, sent in a case inquiry, and they all said I'm within the processing time frame. It's unbelievable and ridiculous. Last year filed I129F and it was denied at the consulate with the excuse that it has expired. Now it's 186 long and stretchy days and still nothing!!!!

I know, it's horrible. Every morning I check Case Status, I feel like a crazy person. 10 days away from the 6 month mark... our daughter misses her father, he has missed half of her life already. I just want our family to be whole again! This process really is too long.

After USCIS had send me RFE and I submitted the evidence they had requested they denied by case.

Now I have to wait for the denial letter for explanation, why they deny my case.

This is ridiculous after so many months of waiting and submitting all the proper documentation, pictures and evidence we get deny.

USCIS has no idea much we miss our loved ones and that we want to be with them.

This process should be more faster, efficient, reliable and give us the petitioner more information and statuses on what stage is our case at, instead of just waiting in the dark.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. Could it be that you only had a religious ceremony trough church and not the legal one "Al Cvil"? I hope they give you the answers you are looking for and are able to fix this quickly.
