After I fill it out and print it..I get that blue line showing up in the fillable area. Will this cause a problem?

I'm sorry about that, dont know if that would be ok. I would suggest that u download it here and just handwrite the data and be sure to notarized before submmission.. http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/files/I-864.pdf

Hi, You could also try printing your form in black and white (not color). Maybe this will help with your blue line. Hope it works.

LOL, in black and white the blue is now black and you can't see what info i filled. I tried Visapro.com, and I get the blue line there also..looks like i am gonna have to fill it in the old fashioned way.

Is it a blue 'shaded' area?? If so we got that too and we used it ok....so long as you can still see what you have typed, then it should be ok.

I found a site that has a fillable I-864 (ilw.com) The edition date is 1/21/98, and according to the USCIS website it's listed as an acceptable edition, so I used that one.

Yes it was a blue shaded area that I had problems with. I could hardly read the writing under the shaded area.

can you provide me the link that says that? On the USCIS website under the I-864 link, it says the edition I used is acceptable.
