I'm also losing my patience. My husband had to pick up a second job to make ends meet on top of his medical bills. My MSC number for the EAD still says the same thing that they received our case in December. We are still waiting on a response on the RFE.

I've been searching for jobs dreaming of being able to work. my thoughts to you is to continue searching for jobs through the various media so you'll be ready when the EAD arrives. When it does, sign up at the staffing agencies so they can help you find jobs as well.

Patience is not my virtue. Hate seeing my husband work himself to death.

Sorry to hear your husband's current situation. I know things will get better, we just need to be patient!

Yes, I will keep on searching for a job, hopefully we will hear something from USCIS soon.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the SSN after we apply? Some staffing agencies ask for the SSN at the application step. Is this to make sure already that the applicant is allowed to work in the US? I have to wait for the EAD in order to apply for the SSN, is this right?

04/01/16-Biometric appointment received (schedule for 14/01/16)

This is the processing time for the National Benefits Center - AKA - MSC Missouri Service Center

Check out the link above - it says "You can now submit inquiries about the status of your Form I-765 after your case has been pending more than 75 days"

and then it show 90 days for EAD processing

Thanks tucker8439. This is the same information I found. I guess 3 months is what we should be expecting.Hopefully I have a job not too long after I receive the EAD, it would be so perfect. I keep searching!!

Don't get too excited because Houston is 9 months behind if not more so it might be a long wait.

Great news! Hopefully we will get our EAD around the time it is supposed to arrive.

I see November'15 filers get their EAD now, which follows the normal timeline.

Yes our EAD's should be soon! As long as I can start to work than I can wait a bit for the GC! So glad I filed a EAD because you never know

From everyone if you look in this forum you can find info from the Houston folks... anyway i filed in July 2015 (AOS through marriage concurrent) and still waiting for an interview i know that most people that filed in May 2015 are also still waiting. An info pass also confirmed that there is a huge back log. Just a heads up
