I hope this will be a good month for our 3 remaining December 2015ers.

With spring333 approaching 120 days since his interview, let's hope we hear some good news soon.

Good luck!

For those still waiting, this may be helpful:

https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do

While I would personally call and then schedule an infopass immediately, you can, if you prefer not to speak with someone directly, create a case inquiry using the link above.

Good luck to you.

and here is a respond from lawyer

I spoke with the people at immigration and they have instructed that your case is outside normal processing times. The USCIS representative worked with me to put in a "service request" on your case. They will send their notes to the Chicago office to let them know that this case is outside normal processing times. They will let us know what is happening on the case in the next 15-30 days.

I asked the congresswoman of my area to check about my case. She did it and the answer of USCIS was :

" Our records indicate that the case is under further review by an officer. All evidence submitted in support of the application for the immigration benefit being sought is being examined. Cases may require additional review for a variety of reasons. It is difficult to predict with accuracy when this review will be completed. Every effort is being made to render an accurate and final decision. We thank you for your understanding and patience."

Which for me means NOTHING.

I also submitted a case inquiry online for "case out of normal processing time" and I had the following answer by email.

"Thank you for your request:

USCIS will review and process the request
Expect a reply by September 18, 2016
Your request ID number is SR**************
"

In my case status there is also a note :

As of August 27, 2016, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SR**********CHI, is currently not assigned for processing.

So I have nothing till now.

Those responses are pretty normal... the point is to get someone to look at your file, which will hopefully happen now.

Give them a few weeks and hopefully you'll hear something. If you don't hear anything by the third week of September, you should schedule an Infopass appointment.
