Understood, Greenbaum, but I guess the point is they should ALREADY know how many times she's been to the US just by checking her passport number and/or visa records. Without going back and finding her old passport (which she says she has no clue where to look), it's impossible for her to remember every single trip.

Shouldn't listing all that are on her current passport be sufficient considering?

I know what you're saying though. I do.

Hey!

If your partner can't remember all the dates then she may be able to find these here - https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/consent.html

I found all my travel history on here. Whenever my passport was scanned in or out of America. See if you're able to get the details :)

I hope this helps :)

Our AOS journey

08/19/2016 - Get biometrics appointment letter in the post. Scheduled for 08/29/2016 at 1:00pm

08/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment done - quick and easy!

10/13/2016 - EAD and AP approved!
10/27/2016 - EAD status updated to "Card Mailed To Me".

You need to put their shoes on and walk their mile to understand why they do what they do. They receive millions of applications and if they had to stop and look up everything that you send in, or don't send in, then the time they would spend on your application would further your waiting time. By having it in front of them they can scan over the documents looking for whatever they are looking for and hopefully conclude that your case deserves an approval.

Just they way I see it.

Does anyone have the info for tracking the package from NVC to the prospective Embassy?

I thought it was on this thread but I haven't been able to find it.

Go to www.dhl.com click Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, and on this page you add your search information. You change the day and month to what you think your package might have left NVC or call NVC to get the date your package had left NVC in route to Manila then go to the DHL website and enter the following information:

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A

* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Your Country

You can marry on the same day - day 89 without any problems.

Wait till he gets his green card to avoid many restrictions that you'll encounter traveling different countries on a cruise.

Just input what country you want to travel to, the citizenship of the person traveling, and what country they live in to check what you'd be facing.

Anybody know if you can schedule the interview before the medical?

Like she knows the date of her medical but would like to see if she can schedule the interview for as shortly after the medical as possible

Check the requirements at the Embassy website. If they allow it you will get a 221(g) which will delay the issuance of the visa. Why don't you just do the medical and then the interview then you won't have any delay's.

I also found this info if it helps anyone:

For the NVC:

K1's are not tracked through the AVR, EVER. They are processed like an immigrant visa, but they are NOT immigrant visas, so they fall into a completely different class of their own. Therefore you need an operator. To get there:

1-603-334-0700

Press 2 for Non-Haiti-Related issue (Please note that this will probably change after some time)

Press 1 for English

Press 5 for an operator

For DOS:

This is where you will be able to find out if your case was received at the Embassy/Consulate. They will not see your case in their system until the NVC has logged it in and applied a case number to it.

202-485-7600

Press 1 then 0 for a live operator.
