What is going on with the USCIS? I mean DAMN its been 8 months since I sent my K1 Vsisa in. I have not hear a PEEP from them. I see that March is mostly approved now in the igors list. Seems as if they get it going for a week or so and push out a bunch of approvales and then it drops off to no approvals. Also they show Feb 23 as the date they working on as of sept 30, but last month they showed feb 20th...i mean one month they moved three days? Anyone know whats going on? If i would of sent my approval off 7 months LATER I would of been BETTER OFF!!!

Hi Barakyah,

You should contact your Congressional Representative's office.

Let them know how long you have been waiting, and ask them to call. I assume you are at the Texas Service Center?

We waited 7 months to the day.

My Congressman's office called down to the TSC to check on our file, and we had the NOA 2 email about 1 week later.

But, just so you know, we also heard nothing until then. They do not contact you at all, until letting you know about the NOA 2.

Are you registered on the USCIS site, to receive email and text notifications?

If not, you will just receive it in the mail, but for us, it was a relief to receive electronic notification a few days earlier.

I called my Senators office and did a written request by fax

They then notified me by mail that there was nothing they could do for me because the uscis website still says processing in February. Although the US CI S updated their website two ago the status is reflecting as of September 30. What state do you live in? Seems like your congressman is more helpful

Ask your Congressperson's office to contact the Congressional Liaison on Monday.

I don't have any more information than that. Just that this is what my Congressman's assistant did.

There ya are. And you Senator or Congressman can't do anything either, as long as your case is within their timeline. Patience is the word of the day.

You could pop over to the Philippines forum, start reading and getting ready for NOA2 day. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Patience Grasshopper - it will happen. ;)
