12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

I know exactly how you feel. It has almost been 2 months since our interview and yesterday our ceac status changed from immigrant to non immigrant ready, as well as the creation and status update date! I hope this means we will get the visa soon..

@Cdiva919 have you received any good news? I am back in frustration mood but still "grateful".. Status changed to ready on Monday 16 and still nothing after that. By the way, what does this message mean? Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application.

Please some answers, anyone. :( :(

I know how you feel. I've been away from my wife and 3 kids about 2 months. On Tuesday the status on mine changed to issued, I was sooooooo happy and on Wednesday it changed to ready. What an emotional roller coaster this has been. I'm praying and hoping it changes back to issued soon. God bless

The Embassy emailed me this morning saying that the visas will be ready after all clearances are complete. My status still says ready. However, I called DOS and the rep told me if nothing chnages by Friday to call back and maybe they can see what the hold up is.

MarieG.. I think that message means that they are finalizing everything for the visa to be issued..

Oops, typo....Changes
