Hello everyone,

I just want to share about my uncle's case. I am a third party agent of my uncle and do everything for him.
I started sending files approximately on June 6 (sending I-130). Then I got a notification that his case was at NVC on August 4, 2015.

Then, I sent IV and AOS packets on... I can't remember but the scan date was October 6, 2015.

And finally, we got a case complete on November 9, 2015 I knew that because I checked on the website and there were 3 NA's.

2 days later, which is today, I received a notification that his case is complete and got the interview date as well.

So it took about 5 months until his case is done.

Thanks for sharing.

But I'm not sure if this is a CR-1 case is it?

Did you mean CR-2?

Because if not, who is married to your uncle?

And when you said third party agent...that means you are just the one petitioning for him and responsible for all docs and fees?

Also when is your interview date?

It is CR-1.

The girl who married with my uncle, she lives in Thailand. They've been married just one year.

And yes I meant that I am a third party who are responsible for all docs and fees.

By the way, the interview date is December 17, 2015.

Okay. Thank you for clarifying.

A CR-2 would be for an unmarried child under age 21 of a USC petitioner.

Presumably the uncle has a wife. One is a USC petitioning the other.

The OP is the agent named in the DS-261. The agent is authorized to receive mail as a third party.
