Thanks both - the automatic email after submitting said to expect a reply by Feb 13th, but hoping to get it much sooner than that as I sent it a week ago now.

I called USCIS today to try to get my USPS tracking number for my EAD... I got an email on Friday saying that it had been mailed on Thursday, but the person on the phone was no help at all and wasn't able to tell me. I'm really hoping it arrives today or tomorrow at the latest!

05/18/2016 - Received email saying file was in Sacramento, not Pittsburgh, and it was not approved yet. WHAT?!?!

05/20/2016 - Status changed online to "On May 16, 2016, we ordered your new card"

05/23/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/23/2016, we mailed your new card" (text & email)

05/24/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/24/2016, USPS picked up your new card" w/ tracking info (text & email)

We put in a request 1/19 which was assigned and closed the same day, with note that response was sent. Our case updated to approved on 1/25. We just got letter in mail on 1/29 for result of service request basically saying it was within the 90 day processing times.

I put a request for expedition too and it said online the same thing "response was sent" and straight ahead "completed" but haven't received anything yet. That was on Wed 27th Jan.......

My NOA is Nov 9....what day are we now? Do you count just office days or everyday?

If you go to your account on the USCIS website, and open any of the forms, it tells you the last action that was done in the big banner: that's this date you have to count from (not the "notice date" which is later than the actual action date).

Then you count every day since that date, not just office days.

Yes absolutely! Since nov 9 we just have the NOA, no bio appointments or anything so I made an inquiry for the EAD in Jan 15th and it was completed and assigned to an officer por response on Jan 30th....so I have to count now from Jan 30th? Thats what you are saying? Should I make another inquiry in the bios or something since is almost 90 days from Nov 9?

Oh sorry I didn't realize you called them already... I thought you were talking about the 75 days after the EAD has been filed, but you called already. So now honestly I'm not sure what you can do - you can still call them, at least they will tell you what to expect.
