Hi guys

I am looking for some sincere advice. I am stuck at NVC for months. I sent them all the documents in April and DS-260 is reviewed already and they asked for another civil document which i submitted in the month of May. They sent me an email on June 8th saying wait for 30 days so that we can review it. Its October now and they haven't replied to me yet. I have been on supervisor review for 42 plus days now.

Everything is frustrating me up now. I am pregnant and have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder yesterday and my doctor said the antidepressants cannot be prescribed till the termination of pregnancy. My baby is not growing well and doctor is calling me for follow up!!! All i am depressed and frustrated because i am alone here in USA without emotional support.

Things aren't going good for me.I need some suggestions what should i do to get my case expedited. Are there any chances that i will be accepted for expedite request?

thanks for any advice in advance.

You need to talk to your doctor and have him write a letter to all the issues you are facing now and how having your husband here will help and you can not deliver alone. You should have got this letter long ago but do it now.

Also call NVC tomorrow and ask to speak to a supervisor Stop emailing that takes 60 days or more to get noticed. Talk to a supervisor tomorrow call your doctor get letter. Also when you call NVC tomorrow request expedite they will tell you how to get evidence to them. That's about all you can do and then wait and see what the embassy says about an expedite for you.

Usually they wont even expedite for high risk pregnancies, call your congress-person

and depending on his country it could ne delayed by extensive checks, I can really

understand the emotional side of things but try to cut down on the stress for the sake

of your baby, with no negative history he will get here.

Well apparently expedite requests depends on the embassy doing the interview, as I've recently learned from others on here who have been successful in getting expedites for non-medical related issues. I think the email you send your request to is NVCExpedite@nvc.com but search for NVC expedite on VJ and you should find the thread. It was active just a couple of days ago.

Once you've sent in your request to NVC, it seems they forward it to the embassy for consideration, then the embassy makes a decision. If your expedite is approved, your case gets forwarded to the embassy for processing and interview.

Get a doctor's note regarding the stress this delay is causing you and the impact it can have on your pregnancy. Also mention the long wait you've already had at NVC. One of the posters I mentioned got their expedite approved due to the emotional and financial stress caused by a longer than usual process at NVC, where they've been since like February.

Good luck. We're sending in our expedite request on November 1st, which is when my DS-260 will have been laying at NVC without review for six months.

hi all

I did not receive any reply after applying for expedite on oct 28th. However, i received case complete email on 11th nov and now interview letter today. I dont if they are processing it normally or as per expedite request?

This is regular processing.

You would have received an email response from nvcexpedite@state.gov saying that the embassy approved your expedite.

It is not too late to send that email if you have not so that your embassy can fit you into an earlier slot.
