You can look up the status of your waiver case on uscis.gov :) We are still waiting for my husband's dual I-601/I-212 waivers to be approved and we filed in June. I would reach out to your congressman to look into your case as it's past normal processing time.

11/11: Husband got deported
1/11/14: Got married

OMG... I think I´m at the same situation...

I filled that 2 times at the Queens office and they sent me back, saying that it was supposed to be filled by my embassy, but they didn´t even saw that I´m not requesting a tourist visa, but an allowance to be a permanent resident...

And now... Long Island Office got that, but not even a receipt back... it´s been 2 weeks and no notice of receipt or documents back... This is so weird...

Does anyone know if there´s a way to know at least of they will receive that and issue a receipt???

I´m more than worried...

I´LL START TO LIVE BACK AGAIN WHEN I´LL BE ON MY HUBBY´S ARMS, FOREVER AND EVER. UNTIL THERE, I DON´T LIVE. I SURVIVE. (L)

I'm also waiting 212 standalone waiver! we are already with 7 months of waiting!

Oh, really???

Where did you filled that?

Did you got a hard time for them to accept the waiver?

I feel not so bad when I see people at the same boat here...

Did you filled an I-30 too?

I´LL START TO LIVE BACK AGAIN WHEN I´LL BE ON MY HUBBY´S ARMS, FOREVER AND EVER. UNTIL THERE, I DON´T LIVE. I SURVIVE. (L)

I pray he comes bk really soon and I wish u all the best luck tht god blessed ur cases and tht u guys get ur cases approved it's sad what famalies hv to go thrue so blessings to all of u and wish u the best luck ?

Lara you are on the right track with your atty...some regions don't get many 212 stand alone & drag their feet

others try & get it over with, ask your atty if he can send a follow up letter or get your congress-person

involved due to your medical prob. Seem with your medical it will be favorable.

Other posters who hijack the thread should start their own to not confuse the issue, cases may seem the same,

but they are not

Certainly I 212 processing times seem all over the place and there is no way of knowing.

Not sure there is anyway to expedite, never seen somebody do it.
