So my parents had their interview on August 4th and they were approved. Thank you God for that blessing.

I was overseas with them, went to the embassy about an hour before the interview time. For security reasons, the guards allowed only my parents inside even though I had my US passport with me. They said they had been ordered to not allow anyone without an appointment in even US citizens. Me and couple more US citizens were not allowed to get in.

At the interview my parents said it was really easy. They were sworn to tell the truth and only the truth. The only questions were asked:

_ Do you have a son who lives in the US.

_ Whats your name?

_What were your parents name?

Officer took the updates I864 that NVC requested for me to take it to my parents. Thank God I printed my tax transcripts, copy of my passport, copy of my naturalization, my last 4 paystubs. He took the medical exam from them as well, and he requested to see original birth certificates, marriage certificates, new police certificates ( even though NVC says if it's less than a year the old one should be good, we took a new one) and translations and than he returned them to my parents.

One of my parents was asked all the previous questions the other was not asked ( I guess because they are married and have interviews together and answers are the same).

They have been told to come back to get their passports this Wednesday.

I wish everybody a smooth and quick process. At the end all of this headache is worth it, because I know my parents will come and live with me and I will be able to see them more often than I used to.

jazz88 send both packages together. Print out the document list you received from NVC and arrange the documents according to it. No need to make two packages and mail together, one package with first AOS and then IV documentation is what they need now. Make sure you put the case number on the top right corner of every single document. Good luck!

No need for payment receipt, they have it.

I added a copy of the applicant`s passport, I think you should too.

The first address, suite 200 is fine. I think you shouldn`t worry about the exact address, the package will be directed in NVC as needed.

Godspeed!
