Hi guys other question for you please ?

My sister speaks 4 languages and she was working as interpreter with US army ....

There is question in part 11 says have you ever serve ........, of helped :

1- military unit

I was discussing her this question doesn't include The interpreters who helped US army outside the USA ... But she's not satisfied

What do you think guys

Thanks in advance

She has recommendations and thanks from US army ,,,,,

We tried to call USCIS but In vain

Any one knows please ?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Part 11 Q- 15

Q15 / Were you ever a member of, or did you ever serve in, help, or otherwise participate in, any of the following groups:

A. Military unit?

B. Paramilitary unit? (a group of people who act like a military group but are not part of the official military)

C. Police unit?

D. Self-defense unit?

E. Vigilante unit? ( a group of people who act like the police, but are not part of the official police)

F. Rebel group?

G. Guerrilla group? (a group of people who use weapons against the military, police, government, or other people)

H. Militia? (an army of people, not part of the official military)

I. Insurgent organization? (a group that uses weapons and fights against a government)

11. Were you ever a worker, volunteer, or soldier, or did you otherwise ever serve in any of the following:

A. Prison or jail?

B. Prison camp?

C. Labor camp?

I believe that refers to foreign military, they want to know if you may have served in/ have allegienace to foreign military units.

That being said, the wording is not entirely clear. I think it would be ok for her to say yes, and add the letter of employment she has from the military and the thank you letters.

I said like what you think it is about the foreign military, but she thinks her history as interpreter will help her and gave her privilege..

She has so many letters and thanks

and she got her green card and social security card in the airport ,,,,,she has SIV ....special immigrant visa .....will that make her naturalization easier ... I got my Green card after 1 year ... :D:D:D

No it won't make her naturalization easier. She still have to pass the test and fill all the requirements

My IV bill paid March 26

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
