Medical examination and other questions

So I am going trough all the Forms I have to fill out and got a couple of questions I need help with.

1. Do I need to send the medical examination with my I 485 or do I send it and wait until they let me know if I need a medical examination?

2. Can I apply for a travel document to go back to my home country during my green card is pending?

(I have been illegal and I am getting my green card trough marriage)

3. Which forms do I have to send first after getting married? A friend told me that I should send the application for employment authorization before anything else so I will be able to start working. I read many times to send first I 485 and I 130 together, can I fill out every single form I need and send them separated but all at the same time?

I think that's about it. if anyone has advice for me, please let me know. And thank you to everyone who is able to answer some questions for me!!!

1) Now you don't need to send the medical with the i485 (rules recently changed since they were expiring before the interviews) i have to bring mine to the interview with me, but they may request it from you if they need it before then. I had my medical when my RFE was approved so i knew it wouldn't be too much longer for the interview. Feel free to send it in now if you want, but risk it taking too long and have to pay for a new one that isn't expired.

2) Yes you can, this is called the advanced parole card and is free to apply for with the i485.

3) Follow the AOS guide here, send the i485, i130 and ead/advanced parole app together.
