Good morning VJ, thanks so much for all the help so far.I have some questions

1. If he's (my fiance) is asked what are the wedding plans, what can he say?

2. What other K1 related questions can be treated, I need ideas from those who have been interviewed, and granted their visas please. Thanx in advance....

1. I pray you have plans he will say it. You have to have something planned you have to get married in 90 days after he gets here.

2. Anything relationship worthy can be asked. It's all about what evidence did you supply them with. Your visits how long in duration, how many visits, being married before. Review the the questions in the guides. It can be all those and more or 2 or 3 no one can tell you what will be asked because every case is different.

But one thing for sure he needs to know you in and out and all about you. He may ask where you work? What do you do? Whats your kids names, your Ex's name. You never know.

To get what others were asked for Lagos for to the Consulate reviews there are many go through those to see what others talk about for their interviews.

What can he say ? Whatever you have planned and what reflects in your submitted chat conversations.

A big wedding ? A small wedding ? A court wedding ? Which venue ? How many guests ?
No one can tell you the answers, only you two would know the what, where, how details.

Hopefully this has been discussed between you.

He shouldn't rehearse anything but truly and freely speak from his heart what he already knows.

Definite plans can't be made for obvious reasons and you won't have receipts with deposits but plans that come close to the real thing

can be talked about.

And show no definite receipts for now to show any pre-assumptuous plans?

He should have what you have panned. It may never e asked for but you never know. If you selected invitations. Many have a wedding planner book. Where you plan to get married a letter from pastor or whoever who will officiate. There's much you should have already had down on paper to show you do plan to marry. If simple and just a court wedding state that. We will marry in a simple ceremony at court house with just my family or best friend there. He needs o speak on these things. Was it in any of your conversations you submitted?

You can be as presumptive as you want whats wrong with saying we were planning to marry on XX day. We picked that day afetr we selected out interview date if its the truth. We started doing this and that.

Sure he can show the wedding plan convos to back up his words if asked.

It is not assumptious to talk about future wedding plans, it is what genuine couples do.

It is also not assumptious to pick a minister or pick a hall your church may offer for weddings etc.

I had traditional garments sewn and submitted photos and a receipt from the seller, also photo and receipt from rings, it is NOT

assumptious but shows intent to marry.

Why should you not assume that you would be approved and implement your dreams that you planned together, it's confidence.

I don't agree with people saying it's assumptious or arrogant whatsoever.

You don't want to pay out hundreds in venue deposits because that would be stupid to pin yourself to a certain day but our wedding garments

were bought and used years later, it took us 5 years for the visa journey. Buying the "stuff" yes, picking the wedding date, no.

Showing receipts for some of the bought "stuff", yes.

I was a bridezilla while almost 1 1/2 years in AP and then refused and a K1 re file and changed my dress(es) 3 times

For me when they asked me what my wedding plan was I told the CO, "I have just finished a pre-marriage class (the certificate was one of the documents I went with) and my fiancé (petitioner) too, we plan within the 90 days to have court/church wedding, light reception with few family members and friends". note: He may be asked the number of the invitees, name of church etc related. The number must correspond to either your light or heavy reception. He doesn't need to show them anything except they ask for it. Let him be calm, bold not over bold lol.. look the CO in the eyes with genuine SMILE, be attentive and focused and get his papers ready in front of him, where the CO will be seeing them through the glass demarcation between them. COs usually fall in love with people who are organized. My CO told me u are very organized.
