I-130 package mailed 10/5/15. Delivered USPS on 10/6/15 at 11:52am. Received text/email 10/8/15 states "Your case has been accepted and routed to USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official receipt Notice (I-797)". Let the waiting game begin. Good luck to everyone

Hey,

I just sent out our I-130 packet today, 19 October 2015. Woop, woop! I'm so happy to have that packet completed and mailed out! It was a lot of work putting everything together......particularly the evidence. I'm hoping to get my text/email with the service center location by the end of this week. Good luck with your packet! Hopefully Nebraska pushes it through quickly! I'll keep you all updated too!

Hi! I consider ourselves October filers too, since USCIS received our I-130 petition on October 1st and electronic NOA-1 was sent to us on October 5th. I hope that the unofficial auto-expedition of petitions filed from abroad (when the USC lives abroad with foreign spouse) is still going on. Our case was transfered to California Service Center.

My husband (the USC) and I decided that it would be best if he moved to the States right after we received the NOA-2 to re-establish his domicile. So now we are really anxious to see when this would be. Still planning to spend Christmas together in Europe and then getting ourselves ready for long months of being separated...

I sent my packet USPS Express yesterday and it was delivered today (10/20/2015) at 9:24am in Phoenix! I can't wait to hear what service center we will get. I'm already starting to think about the NVC packet and it looks like it's going to be a lot of information again . I wish this process was a little bit easier and a whole lot faster!

Did everyone here do their I-130 packet themselves? I ended up doing ours rather than utilizing a lawyer.

Mr. M& Mrs. J......I already had to come back from Europe in August due to my school schedule and it's been 2 months of being seperated from my husband and it totally sucks! I'm going to spend Christmas with him in Europe, but due to my school schedule these trips will be few and far between. I'm really hoping this process goes smoothly and quickly!! Hopefully you have a speedy process and don't have to spend too much time apart from your husband

Faster than I expected. I have to say I'm impressed, so far .

I- 130 Package Sent: 10/14

I-130 Received in Chicago (DHL): 10/16

Electronic NOA1 Received: 10/21 European time (10/20 US time)

Just looking at your timeline - I guess now I wait for my check to be cashed?

Yes! Your check should be cashed by Thursday or Friday. Wow! That's great. California is very much on schedule in getting approvals out. Good luck to you on your journey.

Hi all, I too am an october filer! sent my file october 22nd dhl expedite mail to Chicago Lockbox. Now just waiting on my receipt. Hoping they will notify via email...I am living with my ugandan spuouse in Uganda, where we have a very unreliable mail service >_<
