Hi everyone,

I hope you're all well.

Just a quick question, am I the only one in the Oct thread who has filed my paperwork early Oct but there is still no sign of green card, interview or even a status update. My status is still stuck on "Fingerprint Fee Was Received". I did receive my EAD and AP but I am worried as my medical is about to expire in April. :(

Shall I call them up?

Thank you

I am in the same category. My prediction is that our interview will be scheduled sometime during May to mid-year. My PD is 12/31/2014. Check out my timeline. I have my EAD so I'm not stressing about the GC. If I continue to behave like I did when I was awaiting my EAD, I'll wound up hospitalized for mental issues. Relax, it does us no good. ?

That's the process if you married a GC holder. You first have to receive an approved I130, then you can apply for AOS once you're still in legal status. Otherwise you must return home and do consulate filing. My case is the same.

Lol, you did not sound rude, nor did I take offenses. I was just explaining the process. Good luck on your immigration journey. It is a difficult process for everyone.

Hi rprp123, I'm adjusting status from H1B under F2A category. Priority Date 08/2014. Filed for AOS 10/08/2016. My status also says Fingerprint Fee is accepted. I understand your frustration. Hopefully, our cases get approved soon. Good luck to you!

@Krisdisc @rprp123

I am adjusting from F1 Status and just recently received my interview letter (02/18/2016). My filing date is 10/06/2015

I finally figured that the wait depends on the office you have been assigned (might be different from your Biometrics office which is my case). You can check how long your local office is taking to process I-485 applications at:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

Some offices take 3 months while some take up to 12 months.

My interview date is a little over 5 months after my application was received and according to USCIS Processing Time Information (website I posted) my office is taking 5 months to process applications. So check it out because I know this process creates a lot of stress and anxiety, at least it has for me.

Good luck!
