me too, hopefully.. As I have checked in the Immigration timelines they were working now on EAD-Oct.1 and on AP-Oct.2 ... :-) just keep on praying.

Can you please tell me how you checked about the immigration timeline Sandra&Ann? I live in Los Angeles.. Thank you!

We had sent with AOS package 3 years of taxes and up-to-date paychecks.

The only thing they required for us was a copy of the FULL VERSION of 2014 TAXES. :dead:

Hope they get it fast and they don't slow our application down. :thumbs:

I don't want to find myself here dealing with all this and him on deployment. :cry:

:ot:wish the entire thing could have been done through a portal online.

i know i wish our gov't processes would get with the times be more efficient with using technology.

Thank you Sandra&ann... I also checked September filers forum and some who filed in the middle and end of September got approved today... this waiting and wondering is so frustrating. . I wish I knew how immigration handles the cases... it doesn't look like it is in order of date filed at all in some cases... Hopefully we'll get approved soon

Exactly! I also wondering why other october filers got already an update on their cases. Maybe it depends upon the locations of the offices where the cases were handled. If ever I cannot received any update on my case until on my 75 days on next week. I will call them again. :clock:

I spoke with a friend of a friend today who actually works for USCIS in New York. He mentioned that internally they are ringing huge changes in wake of the rise recent terrorist activity both abroad and closer to home. He mentioned the VWP is being amended and more importantly the K1 spouse visa application will change. One of the people behind the recent California shootings in San Bernardino came into the country on a K1 visa in 2013 and subsequently got married and applied for residency. Supposedly these changes will also have a knock on effect to Adjustment of status applications in future and potentially even pending applications.

I hope for us that any of these recent tragedies doesn't delay the process any further.

I've got to say, that post ^^ above somewhere made me a little worried about the possible crack down on K1 - AOS visa changes.

I filed October 21st....So a little later than everyone else. I'm assuming that I won't hear anything until the new year now though. Also, I got an RFE, which they received like Nov 2nd.....So I, as do many of you, hope that doesn't hold up the EOS and AP!

and if you're anything like me feeling very discouraged ... remember those dates are for your NOA1 date... not filing date. I filed 9/30 but didn't receive NOA1 until 10/5 ... so technically I'm not behind the timeline yet as I was thinking I was this whole time!

Don't know what's going on but I filed AOS and EAD on 29th October and have yet to receive a bio appointment. I called at the 30 day mark and an IO put in an inquiry. I was told that I would hear back within 30 days. Has anyone received their EAD without a bio? What do you guys think is going on with my case? There has been no update since NOA.
