hey guys,

My FI is coming to visit me in MTL in 26 days, we will spend a week together and attend my interview together. The interview is on the 27th of Oct. If and when everything goes well, how long after the interview should I expect to hear of an approval? When will I hear when my visa will be issued so i can make arrangements to go to the states to be married?

At the interview you will be told if your visa got approved, so you will know right away. You can keep checking CEAC to see what the status of your visa is, mine changed to issued after 6 days. It was ready for pick up 8 days after the interview. Embassy emails you to let you know that your visa is ready for pick up.

yes you will know same day of your interview if you are approve. If they do not tell you then ask them. Also if they keep your passport most likely you are approve
