USC will go through the USC entrance and meet up after security to attend the interview together.

You go through the US Citizen line. YOU (USC) can take a cell phone and leave it at the security, then retrieve it on the way out.

You can go thru either line.

You can go through either line but if you have electronics with you, you then must past through the USC side to have your electronics checked into a secure locker, where they will remain until you finish your business with the Embassy.

I went through the line at POE MPL with my fiancee, no one asked about cell phones, electronics computers or anything else. They looked at my passport, her passport and sealed envelope . That was it. There was nothing that I would call an interview. They only asked why she was coming to the US and when she planned to marry.

Every Embassy is different. The Philippines is starting to have a big problem with Muslim extremist. They blow up buses and kidnap those who they think they can extract money from hence the reason why the Philippines Embassy is a little more prone to security.

I read it wrong Vol I think he meant POE and I responded Embassy. My bad. Good catch.

Since the thread was about USEM why would he chime in with his experience with POE. Mmmmm.
