Is moving a lot cause any red flag for ROC and/or Naturalization?

Hello again guys,

I am here again having a a few concerns. My husband and I are just renting and as most companies, they increase rent every time we renew. I've been here for more than a year, first address listed with USCIS (Milwaukee) is different from the one we lived in when I got here. We didn't change address to the address (Shakopee, MN) we physically lived in since the Chicago address is our permanent address.

From that second address, we moved again to a different place (Bloomington, MN). This time, we filed changed of address with USCIS. We've been here for more than a year but since they increase our rent every year, we are thinking of moving again and might not be the last time to move until we get a house.

So, my questions are:

1. Will this affect my ROC and in the future my Naturalization filing if we move this much?

2. In case we move and while my ROC is pending, is it okay to file a change of address?

3. Will the green card be delivered to the new address if we have mail forwarding from USPS?

4. What are the possible consequences of these moving?

I'd love to hear your insights!

Thanks,

POA

1. Not unless USCIS sends mail to an old address despite your having filed updates.

2. It's required. In addition, with ROC in process (?), call USCIS to give them your latest address.

3. Almost certainly not -- USCIS mail typically isn't forwarded.

4. Just that you might not receive USCIS mail.

Be certain that your names are on each mailbox at places to which you move. It might not hurt to notify each Post Office (and the carriers on your route) that you're expecting important mail from USCIS.

Others here might have additional or even better recommendations.
