birth certificate

This is for Morocco....

My fiance is concerned that my birth certificate shows my maiden name. and of course does not match any of my

papers " passport, licence, previous divorce papers. ect..)

Everything i have is notarized or certified.

Has anyone had any issues with their birth certificate not matching present name?

Being that Moroccan woman do not assume their spouses name, their birth certificate always matches their name, their maiden name

follows them always.

We in USA are different. He just wants to make sure we have no issues.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It should be ok. In the Philippines they do it different then the U.S also . The mother middle name is the girl middle name until she married then her last name is the middle name. My Wife just got her first passport when we apply and it was different then her birth certificate both the middle and last name was different and we had no trouble.

I am sure the USCIS is aware of the different way other countries use names

Birth certificates never change, ever, anywhere. It will always show your maiden name.

correction on my last post I lost internet before I could correct it The sentence (The mother middle name is the girl middle name until she married then her last name) should be The mother maiden name is the girl middle name until she married. After she is married then her maiden name will be her middle name.

Also on the forms it ask to list all names use so you can list the different names

no problem

mine was the same and my SS card and driving license had my last name as from my late nusband

but when they do the papers for marriage at the clerk office and you sign, make sure names match

the judge did mine and the clerk writting did it all in maiden name and i signed by marriage name

thought i might have issues when i saw the translation but it never has been a problem
